If you’re looking to combine adventures, breathtaking landscapes, and three paradisiacal locations, then this tour is perfect for you. South of Puerto Vallarta, you’ll discover Las Ánimas and Quimixto, a pair of typical fishing villages that still retain their charm and can only be reached by boat. Just before arriving, you’ll encounter the iconic Arcos de Mismaloya, a protected area where you can snorkel and observe a wide variety of marine species.
Our boat sets sail in the morning to explore these mysterious southern bay destinations. During the journey, you’ll have the privilege of viewing Puerto Vallarta from the sea, and our guides will share insights into its history, climate, traditions, and the best places to visit.
Upon reaching Los Arcos de Mismaloya, passengers can immerse themselves in the sea for snorkeling, enjoying a diverse array of colorful fish for about 45 minutes. After this activity, the group divides into two: those staying in Las Ánimas and those heading to Quimixto.
Those choosing Quimixto have the opportunity to explore the village and visit a waterfall, accessible on foot or by horse (service provided by local providers). Meanwhile, those remaining in Las Ánimas enjoy up to three hours of beach time, the sea, and excellent restaurant service*.
Upon the return from Quimixto, those who stayed in Las Ánimas board the boat to start enjoying the national open bar. We wait for those who visited the waterfall to have their meal, and together at Las Ánimas, we return to Puerto Vallarta.
